Last year a consortium led by J R of the Masaryk University in Czechia with 4 other partner organisations including ECRIN, University College Cork, the University of Nicosia and Universidade Nova de Lisboa was awarded an EU Erasmus + grant ERASMUS+ 2025-1-CZ01-KA220-HED-000355652 to develop velop a Green Trials course to provide environmental education and training for sustainable clinical trials.
The course will involve a total of 10 units with anticipated 100 self study hours with teachers guides and a learning management system or asynchronous self paced study. The course will be translated into German, French, Czech and Portugese. The 10 modules are shown in the figure
We anticipate a pilot course will e conducted in q3 of 2027 with workshops in q4 of 2027 and q2 of 2028 with educator course training for future courses in q3 of 2028.
