Is there an alternative to Theraband?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has found an alternative to Theraband which is more environmentally friendly? We have a small supply of free weights for inpatients but not sufficient for everyone and, like most equipment, have a habit of going missing. Being able to hand out bands for independent use and use following discharge definitely still has a place in our practice but from the research I've done the bands are not recyclable.
