Are you interested in working more sustainably but unsure how?
Third year Swansea University Occupational Therapy students, Alice and Serena, have created a fantastic handy infographic giving ideas on how small actions can make a big impact.
“PROMOTING SUSTAINABILITY IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: A FOCUS ON RCOT KEY ACTIONS” covers ten key actions as recommended by RCOT to help you embed sustainability into your day to day clinical practice.
It is not recommended you try to implement each action all at once but instead focus on one or two at a time to start making small changes.
This month to celebrate Greener AHP Week on 20th-24th April we are asking you to make a sustainability pledge and display the infographic in your workplace, as a visual reminder of what you can do. We also encourage you to share it with your AHP and wider MDT colleagues as several of the action points relate to healthcare professions in general.
