RCPCH webinar: Upskilling child health professionals to talk about air pollution

Emily Parker
Emily Parker • 28 August 2024

Air pollution is the second leading risk factor for death in children under the age of five. In 2017-19, an estimated 7% of paediatric asthma admissions in London were linked to spikes in air pollution. Despite this, UK clinicians are unlikely to talk to their patients about air pollution and even less likely to advocate for broader change.

Join us from 14:30-15:30 on Monday 9th September 2024 to explore the challenges clinicians face in addressing air pollution with children, young people, and their families. We'll discuss effective strategies to overcome these barriers and advocate for cleaner air.
