The workbook approach is useful with examples spread throughout.
The diagram on p53 is very useful as a one page summary.
Material choice guidance on p85 is useful when thinking about materials used in parts of a device.
The case studies are of interest too. For example, on p59 - manual vs electronic blood pressure machines (use the former!) and p68 - smart vs 'dumb' pill boxes (with a detailed process for redesign on p80/81/82).
Worth a read and helps keep the principles of better design of kit and equipment in the front of the mind.
