This analysis of the impact of the UK government's legislation regarding display of foods high in fat, salt and sugar indicates that the first part of the legislation has created healthier food environments in the larger stores covered by the regulations. As of 17th June 2023, the plans to extend the the law into multi-pack sales and other shops have been delayed until 2025.

The research was done by a group that I have been working with since March 2023 at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre.
